Visit Campus
The Union campus is truly one of the most beautiful you'll find. We invite you to come to campus to learn more about the College and the people who are part of your student's life in our exceptional community.
Our location is ideal. We're close to a major airport and train and bus stations, and there are a variety of accommodations near campus. Downtown Schenectady, just a short walk away, has many restaurants with a range of casual, ethnic and gourmet cuisines. You'll also discover fascinating history in places such as the nearby Stockade Historic District, featuring homes from the 1700s.
Whether you are visiting your son or daughter for the weekend or a special occasion, feel free to explore and enjoy our facilities.
Visit the Nott Memorial, home of the Mandeville Gallery, and Schaffer Library. The Visual Arts Building has ongoing exhibits at the Burns Arts Atrium, and the Taylor Music Center offers performances and concerts. See a play at the Yulman Theater.
Check on athletic events, as well, including our exciting Div. I hockey games at Messa Rink. Stop by Reamer Campus Center, our student union, for a bite to eat and a visit to the Union Bookstore. In fall and spring, be sure to stroll through magnificent Jackson's Garden, the oldest continually cultivated garden at an American college.
