The Counseling Center provides free services for students who elect to address personal/psychological concerns with a professional counselor. Typical concerns of students range from interpersonal issues, family concerns, academic problems, etc., to problems such as anxiety, depression, and addictions.
The Counseling Center will also assist with referrals for students who seek services beyond the scope of on-campus resources.

Online Mental Health Screening
The Union College Counseling Center offers online screening for a vareity of mental health issues. This free screening is made available to all Union College students and is taken anonymously. The screening is provided so that you may find out - in a few minutes - whether or not professional consultation would be helpful to you.
Ellis Hospital On Campus Mental Health Clinic
Clinic is held on Wednesday afternoons. Susan Ciarmiello, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, will provide Union students with a pay for service clinic for psychotropic medicines. Diagnosis of learning disabilities are not performed at this clinic. To schedule an initial evaluation, call Counseling Center at 518-388-6161.
